The SWAL Conference is currently accepting applications for its next SWAL Commissioner to begin July 1, 2027. 

The SWAL Commissioner is responsible for athletic and co-curricular scheduling for SWAL schools (Boscobel, Cuba City, Darlington, Fennimore, Iowa-Grant, Mineral Point, Riverdale, and Southwestern).  

Other duties include: scheduling officials, conducting conference meetings, overseeing all-conference selection processes, and overseeing conference finances.

A high school diploma, technical college associate degree, or university degree is required. Athletic Director experience is preferred.
